You’ve already met me as Tarot by Garen, but if there’s one thing I love, it’s a fresh wind! (I’ll thank my Sun in Libra for that.)

Allow me to reintroduce myself as Chalk and Cowrie.

I’m Garen, a Tarot card reader who’s lived in Edinburgh for over five years now. Professionally, I’ve been reading Tarot for a bit over four years. In my personal practice, I’ve been studying, playing with, and exploring Tarot cards since the age of nineteen (I’m 33 now). I love that reading the cards combines occult study, numerology, art history, and that strange, irresistible tug of Spirit. I’ve always envisioned reading as shining a light on the solution to a problem: clarity, guidance, and a light that cuts through the mist ahead. My Instagram bio currently reads: “The star in the Hermit’s lamp.” I might tell you a joke but I’ll never tell you a lie!
